Modernize Your Spring Wedding

Spring conjures up thoughts of refreshing rainfall, brightly colored tulips beginning to poke through the soil, green grass perking up in anticipation of summer, and little birds happily chirping throughout the day. Everything is fresh and lightly scented and colorful!

We love the idea of incorporating spring into a wedding theme, and what better way to do that than with some modern wedding accents such as votives, birds nests, robins egg candles, and little bird tealights?

We added 5 almond favor candies ($12.00 per pound) to the miniature birds nest ($13.98 for a set of 12) in the photo and the colors work really well together. But you can also stock up on mini chocolate eggs in pastel colors and add them to the nests as well. For a packaging idea, put the nest and candy inside of a 3" clear plastic favor box ($0.80 each) and finish with some color coordinating ribbon or a favor tag. The entire favor can be done for under $2.00 each!

For some accents on your tables, whether they are round or rectangular, the robins egg candles (set of 3 for $8.50) and dove tealight holder ($3.50 each) are adorable and are a perfect springtime wedding detail. We also love both of these paired with a personalized matchbook (only $0.46 each) or personalized matchbox (only $0.96 each) for a unique wedding favor that your guests can use!

And of course, lanterns are another great touch to carry through a wedding theme. These lanterns are a modern birdcage that stand 15" tall so they would make fabulous centerpieces all on their own. They would also look charming hanging from branches whether outdoors or from a large and elegant tabletop wedding centerpiece.

There are many ways to incorporate a spring theme into your wedding but we think that keeping your ideas pretty and tasteful will ensure that you do not have to spend a fortune to capture the look that you're trying to achieve, and your guests will remember your wedding for its simple beauty.
